Play with clay pre-test
Show me what you got (what you really, really got)!
Make a small fist-sized clay piece that says something special (or a combination of special things) about you. Share it to your online portfolio as evidence of where it all began this semester!
Pieces need to be ready for critiquing at the beginning of class on the due date (See Schoology). The critique will focus on defining elements of quality in a piece of art (what is good?) as well as the major technical rules of clay (what makes a piece explode or fall apart?)).
There is no wrong answer, except to have nothing at all :).
Images should be uploaded to your blog by the end of the critiquing day for full credit.
