3D Composition intro

"In the visual arts, composition is the placement or arrangement of visual elements or 'ingredients' in a work of art, as distinct from the subject. It can also be thought of as the organization of the elements of art according to the principles of art." (Wikipedia)

For each element, find 2 images of 3- d design/Ceramics that that you feel represent a compositional focus on that element.  Post them in today's Schoology Discussions, titled "Composition Intro- Elements Defined (Element of Focus)". For example for line, I might post these images...

Take a moment to look at the images your peers posted.

Choose 3 images that you like compositionally (because of their line, shape, form, space, value, texture or color). They look "cool".

Comment on those works of arts and what you like about them.  Try to reference an element and/or principle in each of your responses.

For example I might say about the piece below:
"I love the spiky texture and how it contrasts against the smooth, fluid form it covers."
